To advance the cooperation and interaction of physicians involved in Women’s Health Care thru life long learning. Improve and expand Women’s Health Care to the entirety of the State of Hawaii.
Our Story
Everything started in 1979…sort of.
The Hawaii Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology was formed as a non-profit by former residents William Fong, Irwin Lee and John Uohara (Kapiolani Class of 1979). HSOG will raise funds to provide educational and financial assistance to medical students, residents, and post-graduate physicians who may be interested in exploring opportunities in under-served areas.
